Our History

1989: Quanzhou Torch Factory of Electronic Components was founded;

1997: Quanzhou Torch Electron Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Torch Electron, was established in Quanzhou City, Fujian Province;

2003: Suzhou Letdo Electronics Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Torch Electron, was established in Suzhou;

2007: Xiamen Letdo Electronics Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Torch Electron, was established in Xiamen. In the same year,the company was restructured as a whole into a joint-stock company;

2008: Jiangnan High-tech Electronic Information Park of Torch Electron in Quanzhou City, Fujian Province was officially launched;

2010: Torch Electron was selected as a demonstrative project of high-tech industrialization of China. In the same year, Torch Group Holdings Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Torch Electron, was established in Hong Kong;

2011: Torch Electron was selected as one of the key high-tech enterprises in the 598 National Torch Program.

2015: On January 26, 2015, Fujian Torch Electron Technology Co., Ltd. went public at Shanghai Stock Exchange (stock code: 603678);

2017: The third plant & multi-layer ceramic capacitor industrial base and R&D Center of Torch Electron was completed;

2018: Torch Electron established Shenzhen Letdo Electronics Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Torch, in Shenzhen. The company acquired 60% shares of Guangzhou Aurora Technologies Co., Ltd.

Established in 1989, Fujian Torch Electron Technology Co., Ltd. (stock code: 603678) is a state-level high-tech enterprise, a pillar enterprise in the development of electronic parts and components in “ the 11th 5-year Plan” of Fujian and one of the second batch of innovative enterprises of Fujian. Torch Electron has always been devoted to the field of capacitor and reputed as an “expert in capacitor”.
